Former Lady Lions guard Janelle Nardozza returned to the Penn State Altoona women’s basketball program as a coach in the 2013-2014 season.

Nardozza was a three-year letter winner in basketball at Altoona Area High School before going on to play two seasons at Penn State Altoona. She holds several spots in the Penn State Altoona women’s basketball all-time record books, as she is currently ranked fourth all-time in assists (180), third in assists per game average (3.4), ninth in steals (107), and eighth in steals per game average (2.0). Nardozza’s total of 51 starts in a Lady Lions uniform is tied for fifth-most in program history, and her 1,586 minutes on the court is ninth-most. She also played AAU basketball for eight years.

Nardozza spent her final two years of college at Penn State University Park, where she graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. She is currently employed by the Altoona Area School District.
