Cord Heine – Baseball, 2008-12

Cord Heine was the 2009 AMCC Newcomer of the Year and 2012 Penn State Altoona Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year. He hit 16 home runs in 2009, the most in a single season in program history at induction. Heine is the all-time program leader in home runs, runs batted in, and sacrifice flies, also ranking in the top two all-time in six other offensive categories. A member of the 2011 AMCC Championship team, Heine was a leader on a team that won Penn State Altoona's first-ever NCAA postseason game. He was also a catalyst on the 2009 ECAC Championship team that also was runner-up in the AMCC. Heine was a three-time All-AMCC performer and was an ECAC South Region second team selection in 2011.
