ALTOONA, Pa. – The Penn State Altoona men's soccer team announced its 2024 regular season schedule on Friday afternoon.

The Lions are scheduled to play 13 games this season, including the team's eight-date Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference slate and five games to be played at home at Spring Run Stadium.

Penn State Altoona opens its 2024 schedule in the two-day Nate Ferraco Classic, hosted by Geneva College on Friday, August 30, and Saturday, August 31. The Lions will face Grove City College at 6 p.m. in Friday's round, then take on host Geneva at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The Lions will compete in three more games during the month of September. Penn State Altoona will travel to play Washington & Jefferson College (Saturday, September 7 at 3:30 p.m.) and Saint Vincent College (Thursday, September 12 at 7 p.m.) before having its home opener on Saturday, September 21 at 6 p.m. against Wilson College.

As the calendar flips to October, Penn State Altoona will play out the entirety of its AMCC schedule. At home, the Lions will face Alfred State College (Saturday, October 5 at 2 p.m.), Pitt-Greensburg (Wednesday, October 9 at 4 p.m.), Penn State Behrend (Saturday, October 19 at 1 p.m.), and Carlow University (Wednesday, October 23 at 3 p.m.) while playing road games against La Roche University (Tuesday, October 1 at 4 p.m.), Hilbert College (Saturday, October 12 at 2 p.m.), Pitt-Bradford (Saturday, October 26 at 1 p.m.), and Mount Aloysius College (Tuesday, October 29 at 7 p.m.).

Should the Lions qualify for the AMCC postseason tournament, the first round is scheduled for Saturday, November 2 at 1 p.m. The semifinal round is Wednesday, November 6, with the conference championship game set for Saturday, November 9.
