Nine Softball Players Named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A total of nine Penn State Altoona softball student-athletes were recognized by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association for their stellar academic records when the NFCA announced their 2024-25 Scholar-Athletes on Monday afternoon.

To be eligible, student-athletes must achieve a 3.5 or better GPA on a 4.0 scale.

The nine softball student-athletes who were recognized for their academic accomplishments are: Madison Baker (North Versailles, PA/East Allegheny), Allison Beeman (Tyrone, PA/Tyrone), Lauren Davidson (Clearfield, PA/DuBois Central Catholic), Aubrey Dotts (Houtzdale, PA/Moshannon Valley), Gianna Hoppel (Lewistown, PA/Mifflin County), Madison Kennedy (Williamsburg, PA/Central), Hanna Lauck (Bellefonte, PA/Bellefonte), Sidney Nihart (Ashville, PA/Cambria Heights), and Haleigh Peters (Lock Haven, PA/Central Mountain).
