ALTOONA, Pa. – The Penn State Altoona women's golf program released its 2026-27 schedule on Thursday afternoon.

The team is currently slated to compete in a total of 16 rounds, comprised of nine tournaments that include the Colonial Women's Golf Conference Championships in the fall and a total of four home tournaments.

The Lions get their season off to a start Saturday, Sept. 5, and Sunday, Sept. 6, in the Lynn Schweizer Invitational, hosted by Denison University at the Denison Golf Club. The team returns home to host the Toftrees Invitational at Toftrees Golf Resort in State College on Sunday, Sept. 13, and Monday, Sept. 14. Penn State Altoona closes the month back on the road in Allegheny College's annual Guy and Jeanne Kuhn Memorial Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 20, and Monday, Sept. 21, at The Country Club of Meadville.

October begins with the Saint Francis Invitational on Monday, Oct. 5, and Tuesday, Oct. 6, hosted by newly-Division III St. Francis University at Sunnehanna Country Club in Johnstown. After that, the Lions host their second home event of the schedule on Saturday, Oct. 17, and Sunday, Oct. 18, when they welcome a field of teams to Sinking Valley Country Club in Altoona to play in the Sinking Valley Collegiate Classic. The fall semester concludes with the CWGC Championships at Running Deer Golf Club in Pittsgrove, N.J., on Monday, Oct. 26, and Tuesday, Oct. 27.

Penn State Altoona is scheduled to return to action in the spring semester on Saturday, Apr. 3, and Sunday, Apr. 4, with its third home tournament of the season, as the Lions put on their annual Pennsylvania Classic at the Penn State White Course in State College. The team's home schedule wraps up Wednesday, Apr. 14, in the Penn State Altoona Spring Invitational at Sinking Valley. The Lions' final event of the 2026-27 season is Monday, Apr. 19, when the squad plays in The Bedford Springs Invitational, hosted by Moravian College at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort in Bedford, Pa.
