Lions Compete Against Misericordia
DALLAS, Pa. - The Penn State Altoona men's wrestling team traveled east to compete against Misericordia University at Anderson Center Monday evening, when they lost to the Cougars, 60-0.
The dual started with the Lions forfeiting the first five rounds to find themselves behind 30-0.
In the 165-weight class, Gonzalo Santana Hernandez (Short Hills, NJ/Millburn) lost to Jariel Severino by fall at 0:36.
After a Lions forfeit in the 174-weight division, Andrew Weaver (Tyrone, PA/Tyrone) lost by fall at 1:22 in the 184 class against Robbie Anderson.
The Cougars then got two more forfeit wins to win the dual 60-0.
The Penn State Altoona men's wrestling team's schedule will return to Adler Arena on Saturday, January 17, when they face Utica University at 11:00 a.m.
