ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona's 2026-27 men's wrestling schedule was released on Thursday afternoon, a slate that features home duals, tournament competition, conference events, and postseason meets.

The Lions will open the season at home on Friday, Nov. 6, when they host Waynesburg University at 6 p.m. Penn State Altoona then travels to the W&J Invitational on Saturday, Nov. 14, in an event hosted by Washington & Jefferson College. The Lions return home on Wednesday, Nov. 18, for a 7 p.m. dual against Chatham University before closing the month on Sunday, Nov. 22, with a road dual at John Carroll University.

Penn State Altoona resumes competition on Saturday, Dec. 12, when it hosts both Penn College and Wilberforce University in a 2 p.m. tri-dual meet. The Lions then head to the Wilkes Open on Tuesday, Dec. 22, at Wilkes University.

The January schedule begins on Thursday, Jan. 14, when Penn State Altoona hosts Bethany College and Pennsylvania Highlands Community College for a tri-dual meet starting at 10 a.m. Conference competition follows on Saturday, Jan. 16, when the Lions host the AMCC Duals. Penn State Altoona then travels to wrestle in the AMCC/SUNYAC Championships on Saturday, Jan. 23. The Lions close the month at home on Saturday, Jan. 30, when they host Misericordia University at 4 p.m.

In February, Penn State Altoona will compete at the Rennie Rodarmel Allstate Invitational on Sunday, Feb. 7, an event hosted by Lycoming College that is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. The Lions then return home on Thursday, Feb. 11, for an 8 p.m. dual against Lackawanna College.

Postseason dates are Friday, Feb. 26, and Saturday, Feb. 27. for the NCAA Super Region Championships, and Friday, March 12, and Saturday, March 13, for the NCAA national championships at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
