Women's Tennis Opens Spring Season with 7-0 Loss at Juniata
HUNTINGDON, Pa. - The Penn State Altoona women's tennis team traveled to face Juniata College today in a makeup game, losing to the Golden Eagles 7-0.
Juniata (3-2) got the first point of the match after winning two of three doubles. Penn State Altoona (14-3) salvaged a victory in No. 2 doubles, where duo Lexi Colaianni (Pittsburgh, PA/Kiski Area) and Daniel Fulton (Milford, DE/Milford) earned a 7-5 win.
Juniata won all six singles to hand Penn State Altoona a 7-0 loss.
Penn State Altoona returns to action this Friday, March 27, at 4:00 p.m. in a home match against Shippensburg.
