2023-24: Played in 14 matches during his freshman campaign with Penn State Altoona men’s tennis…was a first-team All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference selection in both No. 4 singles and No. 2 doubles…played nine of his 10 singles matches in the No. 4 spot, going 6-3 overall and 5-0 in the AMCC…saw all of his doubles action in the No. 2 position, where he posted a 10-4 overall record that included a 4-1 mark in the AMCC…took a place on the Academic All-Conference teams for both the AMCC and the Atlantic East Conference.

High School: Four-year starter in tennis at Altoona Area High School...team captain in his junior and senior years (2022, 2023)...was the flight No. 3 champion at the Buckskin Invitational in 2022.

Personal: Son of Kristen Hench and John Carey...majoring in Business.
