Varsity A Club Schedules Second Annual Golf Tournament

ALTOONA, Pa. – Penn State Altoona Athletics, in coordination with the Penn State Altoona Advisory Board, will host the second annual Varsity A Golf Tournament on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Sinking Valley Country Club, home of the Penn State Altoona golf programs. The tournament registration begins at 8 a.m. with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
"Tick" Hedrick-Sheaffer Memorial Volleyball Match

Penn State Altoona Athletics and the Varsity A Club will celebrate the life of longtime coach, staff member, and benefactor, Olana “Tick” Hedrick-Sheaffer. On Saturday, November 1, the Penn State Altoona women’s volleyball team takes on Penn State Behrend in a pivotal late-season AMCC matchup. Opening serve is set for 1 p.m. in the Adler Arena.

Penn State Altoona Athletics Launches Varsity A Golf Tournament

ALTOONA, Pa. – Penn State Altoona Athletics, in coordination with the Penn State Altoona Advisory Board, is launching the Varsity A Golf Tournament on Friday, August 1, at Sinking Valley Country Club, home of the Penn State Altoona golf programs. The tournament registration begins at 8 a.m. with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. PennView Suites will be the presenting sponsor for the inaugural event.
